Bannock County Farm Bureau is a volunteer organization selected by farmers/ranchers within the county to serve on their behalf to be aware of legislative and local decisions which could affect the quality of life.
   A group of individuals are elected by the Bannock County Farm Bureau members to serve on the board of directors to collaborate with Idaho Farm Bureau in their efforts to promote the production of agriculture and provide benefits for its members and to serve as their voice for legislative and regulatory issues.

Jim and Carol Guthrie awarded with the prestigious presidents cup at the 2015  IFBF state convention.Idaho Farm Bureau Federation  awarded Jim and Carol Guthrie with the prestigious presidents cup at the 2015  IFBF state convention at Fort Hall Convention Center. This award denotes exceptional service to Farm Bureau and it's members.

Bannock County Farm Bureau board members sponsored Ag days at Swore Farms in Tyhee. There were about 1200 4th grade students for the Pocatello area. The students learned the aspects of running a farm and where their food comes from.

They learned how to milk a cow, make and taste their own butter from cream, pick potatoes,and how to be friendly to the land that provides our food supply.
