2004 Farm Bureau Woman Of The Year
Jeanine has been a constant source of support for Reed and their family on the farm, at home, with Farm Bureau and with community organizations. She is a soft spoken, gentle lady, always willing to help with whatever needs to be done and professional in her accomplishments. She truly represents the model mother, wife, grandmother, friend and Farm Bureau woman.
Jeanine’s husband Reed retired as an insurance salesman for Farm Bureau Insurance after 46 years. He was also an agency manager during part of his career. Together, Jeanine and Reed have participated in judging presentations for Farm Bureau, supported YF&R contests, helped with summer picnics and attended numerous conventions and banquets.
Jeanine was the local centennial chairperson for McCammon during the Idaho Centennial celebration and served on the County Centennial Committee. With financial assistance from the IFFT Foundation, the committee was successful in building Centennial Park at McCammon. She has served on the local PTO, the Downey Hospital Auxiliary and has been a den leader for scouting. Jeanine has also served as relief society president in her church. She and Reed serve on the McCammon Rodeo Grounds Committee. Reed plows the arena to prepare for the celebration and Jeanine works at the stands.
Following her devoted love of music, Jeanine has been a piano teacher for 52 years. She plays the organ and the piano and sings for church and community activities. She has helped with the Jr. High School opera and participated in the Messiah choir. The Pocatello music club has presented honors to Jeanine as a composer and have performed one of her original pieces. She has composed and published several songs. One of the songs Jeanine composed is “Beautiful Idaho” which was written for the year of the Centennial.
Thank you Jeanine Cammack for representing Farm Bureau Women and for the good work you do in
our communities
